SECTION I: NAME
a. This act shall be known as the Kanye West Act

SECTION II: PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE
a. Upon passage of this bill, all references to "Black History Month" by the federal government of Atlasia shall be amended to refer to "Black History and Black Future Month."
b. This shall take effect for all Februaries beginning in 2023.

The Black community of Atlasia has gone through an arduous journey to get to their position today, and the contributions of Black leaders in the past such as Harriet Tubman and Martin Luther King Jr. must not go unrecognized. It’s also important to look forward and see what all the Black community can accomplish going forward, so my proposal is to rename Black History Month “Black History and Future Month” to emphasize looking both past and present - at what has been accomplished and what will be accomplished, at the leaders of the past and the generation today which will soon take the reins. I rest my case.
