Just to provide some background to the distinguished Senator from the great State of Mississippi, I saw back to back alarming news articles the other week irl about the IRS trying to implement invasive facial recognition software in order for people to claim tax refunds and Secretary Buttigieg pushing for federal infrastructure money to spent at the state level on constitutionally dubious red light cameras to goose funding numbers. The articles are below. I sent them to President Scott over Facebook who was similarly alarmed, and at his request and with his assistance we crafted this proposed bill to ensure such abuses dont happen in game. Thanks for yalls consideration.

Thank you PPT, WD,

And thank you to the newly, region-wide senator elect Mr.R for the opportunity to sponsor this. This bill is but one step in the Butlerian Jihad that needs to be fought against the state surveillance machine.  This as an importance piece of of the puzzle to shield our people from authoritarian technological infrastructure. Regions that are so inclined can still fund those things from their own regional taxes should the governing bodies elect to do so. I believe that is important that the Federal Government here in Nyman demonstrate to the whole nation that it is not in favor of using authoritarian technologies on its own people under the guise of public safety. My fellow Senators, I hope you join me in this Butlerian Jihad.

Almost forgot...

I concur with the sentiments expressed by Senator-elect R and Senator Muad'dib. And I thank Mr. R in particular for informing me about this issue. This is a matter of privacy. It is a matter of due process. It is a matter of restraint. And I do hope the regions adopt similar legislation.

States and regions currently can photograph your car if suspected of speeding. No human contact whatsoever; literally a ticket issued by a robot. And people who receive that ticket are required to travel to the state where the alleged offense was made, if they so desire to challenge the ticket, which obviously discourages exercising the right to due process. This is a cash cow, and it should be banned completely. The federal government should be sending a different signal than the OTL American government is.

I will not be in office at the time of this vote but I do hope that senators and the new administration will support this bill. Privacy is worth protecting.

That's rich coming from you, of all people. How about we consider your history? Though I won't do that because it'd be too rude to expose you as the Fraser Anning supporter that you are.

Wasn't this the same attack you made on Senator Muaddib a week or two ago? (Genuinely asking but I think this is the case).
