Now, I think its safe to say that it's universally agreed on that Cheney would've lost horribly in 2008, but if he were to run in '08, AND he went ahead and chose Palin, how much of a blowout would that situation be?

Cheney wouldn't have picked Palin. IIRC, he said after the '08 election that it was a bad pick.

A complete shutout can't be ruled out tbh. Maybe Cheney wins NE-03 and WY?

I mean do people forget his approval rating was like 12% in 2008 or something? It would have been an absolute massacre.

Dick Cheney would have still easily won Idaho, Utah, Alabama, and Oklahoma in this scenario in addition to NE-3 and Wyoming.

Cheney wouldn't have picked Palin, but if he did.


I think Palin's popular enough to give Cheney the win in Alaska, but everything else is basically the most Republican territory possible.
