Looking more at the map in Asia. Basically what Russia lost compared with IRL Russia, they gained it in Asia lol.

I don't think that Afghanistan quite makes up for most of Ukraine and the Caucuses.
I was more thinking of the russian gains in China that are huge

Hey, can I still claim a nation here? If so, I’d like to join as Argentina.

Yes! There is no Argentina in this world but the purplish nation in its spot is Patagonia. I can add you in at the start of the next turn.

Ok, I actually heard that the UK is free right now, so can you put me in for that nation instead? Thanks!

Honestly, Spamage would probably be the best person to reach out to since he’s the GM and thus can probably give the most detailed answers
Well I fail to see how this is contradictory with what I said.

We are talking about a game that has been lasting for 4-5 years now. I'm just trying to help as I have been here since the beginning.

Not interested in continuing playing the game sadly.

I admit having completely underestimated Xavier. However, no one actually predicted that.

Thank you spamage for everything.

Just wanted to make a public note about some stuff I've seen about interactions between players over the last week or so. I'm not going to name specifics, and this is not solely directed at any one person, but there have been several different instances I've seen of tensions getting to the boiling point. At the end of the day this is a game and people's moves in said game should not be taken personally.

I can understand the frustration of dealing with a perceived betrayal, I've had experiences in several games similar to these in the past, but I would urge people to keep calm and remember that, at the end of the day, this game is just as much about having fun and worldbuilding as it is high-stakes diplomacy.

Hey,
Just wanted to say something about it. There are some players who have been kindly reaching out to me to reconsider coming back to this game.

I just want to be clear that my departure has NOTHING to do with Malcolm X. He has all my support for taking back France and while obviously I didn't like him leaking my plans lol, I CATEGORICALLY opposed any attempts trying to blacklist him or block him or anything.

If I have decided to leave this game, it is frankly because Spamage and I ended up disagreeing  a lot on the domestic situation regarding my realm (if he's interested I can explain to him why in private). While I absolutely am grateful for everything he has done for this game, it's just fundamentally when you end up being on a total disagreement with the current situation of your realm with him, well, this just means this cannot work out, as I believe he has absolute total control over the writing of this game. Absolutist socialist France after a brutal civil war (and many other things like inbred Louis XIX, bastard Louis XX, insanely anti French Spain and so on) is something I fundamentally believe shouldn't have happened following my moves last turn. We respectfully disagree, and really I completely understand why he wanted to shake up things by collapsing France. I prefer to give my realm to Malcolm X who I believe is perfectfully suited for that task.

And while some comments from players regarding myself have been pissing me off, I do not hold any kind of grudges against any of you. So I wish you all, from the players to Spamage, good luck and have fun.

Anyway,
I'm announcing I am back playing Romania.

I just want to say that spamage and I did talk a lot behind the scenes and that while we will never end up agreeing on what happened to France, well let's say there is strong respect from both sides given the now 5 years long cooperation between us!

I totally expected Prussia to join the war - bad for you that they didn’t.

Yes, I'm aware of how bad it is.
With all due respect it's not that bad. You're not in a terrible position

To develop it further,
Your army is mostly intact and you're certainly not close to lose your capital and all your population IS clearly behind you

Withdrawing.
Don't have time to play and don't have the motivation anymore. Signing the treaty will be my last action.

Have fun!

Why is WJ posting as Corsica after quitting?
Because I heard from dereich and X that gotfan was requesting an official apology from France when I was playing Charlotte while I respected the referendum treaty. So I found that funny lol

Mod Note: I'm deleting the last few comments; please keep things civil here.

I'll refer the question of the in-game post to Spamage. If he thinks it should be deleted it'll be done.

I am being perfectly civil. I have not insulted anyone
Neither am I.

Anyway,
I'm going to delete it.

I wasn't trying to be malicious at all. I just remembered true federalist making this kind of comments back in the days while not playing and I couldn't resist posting something when two players contacted me telling me that the king of Naples was asking an officially of France regarding my actions as Charlotte which I found funny lol.

Wasn't expecting my very créative reactionary socialist coalition to undermine Colombia. My apologies Kuomo lol

And reconfirming my interest in playing Brazil
