Honestly, I am thinking of quitting. This entire fiasco has pretty much proved that i'm pretty terrible at these things and frankly, get too involved for it.

From one in-game demagogue to another, props to GOTFan for his speech.  I got a good laugh out of it (and I mean that as a compliment, at least half the point of in-game speeches is to be entertainingly OTT).  I didn’t think you had it in you

Philip is very much in "I-hate-everything-and-everyone-who-isn't-Russian-or-Balkan-or-North American." mode at the moment. He's also extremely Francophobic and very much attempting to create the school of Italian Irredentism. In fact, it's not a stretch to describe him as an Italian ultranationalist, but a strangely liberal one who support constitutional rights.
