If the Democrats took back control of Congress in the 2002 midterm elections, would President Bush and Vice President Cheney been impeached due to the illegitimate 2000 election results?

Speaker Gephardt and Maj. Ldr. Daschle probably would have faced pressure from the Democratic base, don't you think?

But if Pelosi was already Speaker in 2003? Impeachment hearings certainly wouldn't have shocked me.

Still, it never would have gotten off the ground in the Senate, because Tom Daschle would have conveniently "forgotten" to hold a trial in the Senate for Bush and Cheney.
