I am not sure they existed in any meaningful numbers at all, weren’t blacks like 97% or something ridiculous for Obama in 2008? Hard enough to find even a Bush-McCain black voter, let alone Kerry-McCain. Literally the most likely explanation might actually be they checked the wrong box accidentally in 2008.

Still unlikely, but a guy who lives in AZ and supported McCain because muh favourite son, or someone who lived in MA and supported Kerry because muh favourite son.

But here's another possibility: a liberal who thinks America's first black president shouldn't Obama and it should be somebody else, and someone who so strongly believes that that they're willing to vote GOP instead of a black Democrat.

Someone who knew Barack Obama personally and just didn't like him.

Hell, Bill Clinton in his autobiography lists a dozen people from his hometown or Arkansas who didn't vote for him for petty reasons, some date back to his childhood.

Lol!

But do you really think Clayton Bigsby would have voted for Kerry? I’m almost certain he would have voted Bush

Bigsby disliked Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell.

The veteran explanation kind of makes sense. Not many of those but it's such a miniscule number as noted.

Someone who thought we should have gone into Iraq, but that we should have pulled out after getting Saddam Hussein, but then wanted to stay in Iraq after the troop surge and not just withdraw and let the country collapse. Also, lives in Arkansas.

Unlikely to find one, but this is the best I could come up with.
