Hydro is one of the oldest, most rudimentary power sources on the planet.  Makes sense that poor countries like Afghanistan would still be heavily reliant on it.

Hydro is one of the oldest, most rudimentary power sources on the planet.  Makes sense that poor countries like Afghanistan would still be heavily reliant on it. 

Afghanis would be dumb to not rely on hydro power.

Just being a wet climate isn’t the only factor for hydro, elevation differences also help. That’s why a mountainous country like Afghanistan is in a good spot for hydro.
