Quote
A RESOLUTION
To fight back against voter fraud

Be it enacted by the Lincoln General Court
Quote
Section 1.

1. The Region of Lincoln recognizes Donerail as the rightful governor of the South and offers its support against those trying to usurp his power.

2. This support is conditional that the government of the South repudiate any alliances with Wulfricist forces.

This has exactly as much to do with voter fraud as the horsehockey about the June presidential election, a similar amount of actual fraud exists in each case, and this will do the same to “fight back” against it as the useless posturing at windmills in the name of “patriotism.”

Speaking as a private citizen, this tired pretence has sat too long on AFE/AFG for any good it has been doing, and it certainly does not need to be business that Lincoln or the Court concerns itself with. I hope everyone recognizes that.

If we do not have secure elections, then the capacity for traitors and despots to get in power is even greater than in volatile times such as this. LouisvilleThunder is not the righteous Governor of the South, and has shown deplorable conduct. This sorry episode should be a footnote in history, and in showing solidarity with Donerail, the rightful Governor of the South, we may use this final chance to be on the right side of said history - the price residents of the South may have to pay by letting uncertainty and conflict continue is too much to contemplate. This resolution reaffirms those beliefs to be true and continues our efforts to unite Atlasia.

However, it is essential that we do not lurch from one extreme to another, and don't appease hostile powers who will seek to use this for their own power plays. In particular, the people of Lincoln remember how much they suffered under the scourge of Wulfricism, and this resolution reaffirms our commitment as a region to condemn Wulfric, his poisonous ideology and his deplorable actions. It appears that Wulfric has changed sides again, and any commitment of his to this course or any support for this resolution should not be seen as a sign of friendship.

You don't even know me yet you are using such strong language, lol. It's disgraceful that you seem to have been spoonfed such joke legislation instead of governing responsibly. You speak of "don't appease hostile powers who will seek to use this for their own power plays." But you're actually working to make Lincoln a puppet for Fremont and Truman.

Just re-read the SOAP and realized that the speaker can move to revoke something from the floor.
I move to revoke this from the floor, due to it being absurd. (Revoking something from the floor requires a simple majority, 3 out of 5)

Apologies for not treating the very fun, active, engaging, and purposeful game of Atlasia with the gravity it deserves.

Never let anyone levy the unfair accusation that the Lincoln Court supports fighting voter fraud.
