If there was a woman (possibly his next VP choice) that emulated his style, how would that go in today's America?

I sense that Kristi Noem, the governor of SD, could possibly be in line to take his place as President one day, and she may be the first woman... but there are women of the right that are very very formidable.

(Margaret Thatcher was a woman of the right but she had a very different style than the American right had.  Much more upper class-sounding, like a little on the snobby side.  Not sure if that would have much appeal to conservative blue collar guys, idk?)

I will say that right now, the most likely path to a female GOP president is Trump winning in 2024 and then his female VP running in 2028.

Kamala Harris obviously has a better chance than any other individual woman.  We don’t even know if Trump would have a female VP.

Most likely Trump and a woman will be the next GOP ticket (my guess is Noem), which would set up the running mate to be the frontrunner for the 2028 nomination regardless of the outcome (although a very soft frontrunner if Trump loses). And since Harris will most likely be the 2028 nominee, the 2028 election winner will be decided in the Republican primary. There's nobody specific with a significantly high probability of being the first woman elected, but if I were to put money on it, I'd bet on Noem.

If anything, he could have been a minor factor for Biden choosing Kamala to be his running mate. And by the simple virtue of being VP, she is the most likely person to become the first female president before any other Republican.

I don't think he'd fit into the inaugural gowns (:
