What will be the bluest House seat held by a Republican and the reddest held by a Democrat after the midterms?

California 22 for Rs, PVI of D+10

Bluest R-held seat is probably either CA-27 (Garcia) or CA-22 (Valadao). Or maybe one of the suburban Chicago seats. If Katko was running, I would have said whatever seat he's in.

For reddest D-held seat, I'm saying ME-02 (Golden).

Most Democratic GOP-held seat: TX-28, PVI of D+7

Most Republican Dem-held seat: MI-08, PVI of R+1

I think Golden will hold on, despite many of his red district peers (e.g. Cartwright) going down, so him for the Dems.

Very hard to tell for the GOP. Could be VA 7. I could also see it being IL 6 given the drama there. I expect they will win 1-3 outer suburban seats that will be effectively loaners til 2024.
