What would the political future of Kamala Harris be if Biden/Harris get killed in the 2024 election? Let’s say Biden loses worse than Hilary lost in 2016.

She would be finished politically, and returns to private practice, though maybe with an eye on the entertainment industry, perhaps showcasing with an appearance on 'Law & Order' and/or 'Law & Order SVU' as the new District Attorney.

As far as I remember, every actor playing the DA on SVU has been either a while male or a white female.  So if this transpires, it would be a first for the show!  Truth be told, I'd like to see her as a regular, and not just making a guest appearance.

Harris would certainly run in 2028, but her and Biden's loss would be a massive handicap on her chances of winning the primary.

And unlike him she could win!

She wouldn't have one, and neither would any other Democrats.

She's most likely going to be the sacrificial lamb in 2028 regardless of if Biden wins or loses in 2024

She's considered to be a far bigger idiot than Dan Quayle by the General Public.

Quayle wasn't really an idiot.  Harris has the political instincts of a clam.  She has no public support independent of her VP status and will never be a Presidential nominee.

She'd probably be finished in that scenario and return to private law pratice or some other non-government role.

Depending on polls, I wouldn't rule out an attempt for the 2028 nomination, which obviously wouldn't go anywhere.

No matter what happens, she will run in 2028.

Really, why? She'd basically just be the new Mondale (not that that's really a positive sign)

Probably the nomination in 2028, but she would lose unless the Republican incumbent running were very unpopular.

I mean it's not like Mondale cakewalked to the nomination, it was a pretty close battle with Hart for a while.

She would be more like Dan Quayle than Mondale, in the sense that a Democratic loss in 2024 would be considerably smaller than 1980, and she’d lose the nomination in 2028.

Not saying that she’s anything like Quayle otherwise…

In 3.0 Unemployment Biden isn't gonna lose, in 2004 after 911 Bush W got reelected with 6.9 percent unemployment and Trump made it close in 2020  because unemployment was on downtrend from 9 percent to 7.5 percent it's a 304/234 EC map

This is exactly why QU polls of Biden plus 14 we're off in 2020 because of downtrend of unemployment

There hasn't been any INCUMBENT Prez losing when low unemployment, that's why Midterm polls are off 3.0 percent unemployment

2010 it was 10 percent and 2014 it was 8.0 but ACA was deeply unpopular
