Ah yes, an insensitive comment about an organization that talks non-stop about Israel and the "Palestinian lobby" is being a wannabe nazi.
I'm tempted to press the HP button but that's more because I'm not really in the mood of forgetting his past as an insufferable ideological purist extremist, among many other things because for years he trashed a bill that immensely helped students from poor backgrounds because it wasn't exactly the way he liked and couldn't relate because he was a rich wannabee revolutionary that went to an elite private school and that hits a personal nerve for me
This is also why his extremely abrupt turn to moderation rubs me the wrong way. I'm usually all in for pragmatism and actually getting stuff done but coming from him it feels like he never really had any real convictions of his own which make his past even more jarring.
Yeah yeah, he is young and probably "grew up" but as I said I'm not really in the mood of forgivenessTaking his
current policy stances in isolation, he is like my dream politician, and he was obviously better than all of the alternatives which is why I had to vote for him 3 times the past year.
