The Blazers were the rightful Western Conference Champions in 2000 and in those days winning the Western Conference Championship was basically a guarantee that you would win the NBA championship so yes the refs stole 2000 from the Portland Trail Blazers.

Not true we made the conference finals in 2019 despite Nurkic getting injured (which hurt us badly that series ). Also injures ruined our Roy-Aldridge-Oden trio as well which would have been contenders .


Anyway if you want to know a reason why Blazers fans hate the Lakers , that series is another reason .

That Blazers team right before they became the JailBlazers were really good. Yeah, most of their key players weren't in their absolute prime, but they were still really good. I wonder how a Blazers-Pacers Finals would look like.

Blazers probably win in 5-6 against the Pacers . Keep in mind that series in OTL went to 6 cause Kobe got injured in game 2 otherwise lakers probably win much easier
