She has had one of the best Covid responses in the world, and on other domestic issues she is improving things and providing a sensible, left-wing government. The OP said that NZ's vaccination rate was low when vaccines were 'widely available'. I'm not sure what they mean by that, because they were widely available globally but because of the contract with Pfizer they were not widely available in New Zealand. Only on September 1, 2021 did all adults become eligible for a vaccine and as a nation we rushed to get it.
