Yeah, I kinda figured this'd be the de facto response, but I had to ask. Obviously Parochial Boy was saying it ironically/sarcastically, but still, I just wanted to hear his answer.

Not exactly a forum, but I participate in the Facebook group The 13 keys to the White House. The admin is a person who had a similarly themed Yahoo group in the early 2000's. In 2003 one poster on the Yahoo group posted about a forum attached to Dave Leip's Atlas of US Presidential Elections. From that tip, I started lurking here in Jan 2004 and joined a month later. A couple years later the Yahoo group disbanded. When the Yahoo admin tracked me down during the pandemic to invite me to the Facebook edition, I was happy to join.

CivFaatics and AH.com are the main ones, joined in 2010 and 2011 respectively.  CivFanatics was my first forum.

None reqally atm, although sometimes I'm getting into "discussions" on Facebook. Recently I tried to troll some anti-vaxxer trolls there.

I'm also a member of a "German Green base" FB group with about 2,500 members which probably is the closest thing to another forum I'm a member of. Recently I tried to troll a pro-lockdowner there who was starting to get on my nerves.

SE is amazing for how similar it is to the current online text-based Left ecosystems on Twitter, Reddit, and 4chan derivatives. Similar discussions, similar divisions, and the same few stragglers who became internet famous. You have the one bordiga poster who posted here, Ismail who posts here, and the one CPUSA bot. Nothing has changed.

I've seen Ismail's Soviet historical works thread on here: He would fill up entire boards with them on SE. Actually out of curiosity I visited back there today and you still have a few old timers left – Red Rebel, soviet78, Misuzu, and Kirov to name a few. Their recent analysis of the current Russo-Ukrainisn situation is good.
