Saudi-Led Airstrikes Kill Scores at a Prison in Yemen
The strikes, which also knocked out the country’s internet, came after Iran-backed Houthi rebels attacked the U.A.E., a key partner in the Saudi-led coalition that has been fighting in Yemen for years.

CAIRO — The seven-year-old war in Yemen intensified again on Friday when airstrikes by the Saudi-led military coalition on northern Yemen killed at least 70 people and knocked out the entire country’s internet, according to international aid groups and the rebels who control the area.

Capping a week in which rebel drones struck as far away as Abu Dhabi and Saudi bombs rained down across rebel-held northern Yemen, the hostilities were fresh proof of the conflict’s obstinacy a year after President Biden took office vowing to bring the war — and one of the world’s worst humanitarian disasters — to an end.

USA's buddies take a whole country apart with millions of people starving. Millions of people. Starving. Hundreds of thousands of them are kids.

It's your f**king allies. And you are literally profiting of this war.  And you dare to f**king lecturing us on Ukraine, huh? Will Biden have a press-conference about this?

Absolutely disgraceful that US and other Western nations are still supporting Saudi Arabia, but...

Disgraceful that the Administration didn’t work to break the blockade and force a ceasefire by restraining the Saudis. Now this attrition will just continue killing scores of Yemeni lives with no end in sight.

Ah, the every-popular, "what you're doing indirectly is awful, how dare you criticize us for trying to do it directly ourselves". What is being done to Yemeni people by the Saudi dictatorship and their allies is terrible, as is what the Russian dictatorship is threatening to do to Ukrainian people. How about we send both MBS and Putin to the ICJ?

Yes. And if you don't like it, perhaps you can barrel bomb some more hospitals in Syria to get your anger out.

Two wrongs don't make a right, you know.

The continued uncritical support of the West for KSA remains a scandal, indeed an obscenity.

Both Putin and Mohamed bin Salman belong in prison. Your observations are not intelligent nor interesting.
