Honest question, what value would that have given us? I guess the assumption is that we'd have a more cordial relationship with the USSR if we hadn't hidden that knowledge from them, but I'm not sure I really believe that given the paranoid nature of Stalin. We were always bound to have a Cold War type of relationship with them, and WWII was mostly just an alliance of convenience.
