I am personally pretty worried, because I think there is a serious chance that the Republicans will subvert the results of the election if they lose.

If I worried about it? I would be absolutely ing terrified. But until Labor Day 2024, I'm going to distract myself with other things.

Not gonna be overtly pessimistic or optimistic until 2024 actually happens. We're still a little under 3 years away. We have time. Relax.

Somewhat concerned that there will either be another coup attempt or a possible civil war as many academics have warned about in recent days.

I don't understand why so many Democrats are more worried about the Republicans losing and stealing the election than they are about the much, much greater likelihood that the Republicans win fairly.

Either would be a body blow to the state of American democracy after the 2024 election.

Because red avatars on here for some reason love to jerk off to the idea of Republican dictatorship.

If they win fairly, they can be obstructed into the ground at best, done in by their own excesses at worst...all of this by institutional powers and base complacency.

If they lose and steal the election, the paranoia and frenzy only increases.

Tbf, centrist-lib Dems are slowly headed this way too in attitude.
