I like you TheReckoning, I really do. But it does not make you look good when you make threads like these.

Anyway, obvious vote for the Allies.

OP, please tell me that one of those votes *is* yours, and that if you're asking this as a "this is a really tough question" you're trolling. This is honestly not something that is fun to joke about.

I had the think long and hard about this but ultimately I think I would have backed the Axis because Mussolini made the trains run on time and trains are cool.

I believe 6 people here only wanted to be funny.

In Atlas Forum, we care about politics, history, economics, philosophy etc
But if he ask ordinary people on the streets "Who would you have supported in WW2?" and give only 2 options
1. the side which included the USSR
2. the side which opposed to the USSR
Some people would answer 2

Russia was no problem with us until the Cuban MISSLE Crisis and China became a Communist state but they both have bluffed wars with us including Ukraine they are both on the UN Security Counsel that's why we never got into war with neither of them but instead terrorist attack by Lee Harvey Oswald whom married a Russian

A the Allies are on the UN Security Counsel, that's why Russia abd China are on it

Blinkin met with the Ambassador of Russia the Russian troops aren't invading they are bluffing so NATO stays our of Ukraine there has been ero fighting

Ukraine is a Soviet satellite imita not in our strategic interest to go to war with Russia over Ukraine not being in NATO we would lose to Russia without a draft

I would have picked 1, all day, not only during WW2 but also during the cold war.

What? It was clear to anyone following the news that the USSR in the Eastern front had the upper hand by the fall of 1943.  Even on the Western Front, Allied forces were halfway up Italy by mid-1944, clearly winning the war in the air, and clearly winning the war in the Atlantic.  If you read accounts after the war the common opinion of regular citizens in Berlin as early as 1941 was that the war was not going well for Germany.  By 1943 most people in Germany most likely accepted that defeat was inevitable and that there has to be an all out effort to avoid total defeat.
