Koopa would win in a 2012-like race--a comfortable victory but by no means a landslide.

I could be swayed (whether to McConnell or to vote for a third-party/Indy or to write someone in) but I would probably lean toward Koopa at least at the outset of the campaign.

A right-wing boycott would allow Koopa to win pretty easily.

Koopa/McConnell. Needless to say the country definitely isn't ready for our first transgender president.

I can see it happen in most of our lifetimes, but not before the first gay president is elected. (Hopefully it's the dorky civil libertarian Redditor from Colorado and not the dorky smooth-talking empty suit from Indiana.)

McConnell could never win a race against Mario.
