I've heard that Las Vegas and San Diego offer two of the nicest year-round weather for Americans... surprised those regions are not bursting with more population growth.

Those places are growing rapidly as-is. Also Las Vegas' growth may be suppressed by its water situation

Las Vegas is very hot, which makes sense on why it isn't bursting with population growth.

Enjoy the nosebleeds, chapped lips, and parched skin...and general droughts.

The southeast, since I am accustomed to the heat and humidity of a southern summer (I was born here), plus of the two it is less likely to suffer from drought.

The weather in the Southeast is probably easier to tolerate personally.

As someone who has spent a summer afternoon at Badwater Basin, I cannot agree.

Southwest. I can't stand humid heat. It just sucks the life out of you and doesn't even let up at night.

Spending a week in Florida taught me that Dixie does not have the climate for me. Probably Southwest.
