Not a political movie hero, but in terms of book heroes, Danielle Tozer from Dreadnought (2017) (though its sequel, Sovereign (also 2017), is more explicitly political) has me down to a tee, hence why I'm so hyperfixated on the series to which she belongs.

Out of these movies, actually, the only one I've watched is the oldest. So I went to Wikipedia on the other two, and based on what I've seen/read, I like Smith a lot and honestly want to be like him. Finch is great but at this point civil rights isn't a problem anymore. And I find V to be, based on a brief Wikipedia description, to be unappealing (apparently he's an anarchist, so that's where he loses me). I would vote for Smith, then.

I know who revolutionaries like Big Abraham would support, though...

Jefferson Smith is certainly the one I'd choose as a role model.  A good, decent, idealistic man trying to do his best for the country.

I like the movie a lot, but let's face it, V is a highly flawed and in many ways horrifying person.  We root for him to succeed only because the regime is much worse.  Also, who wants to be a hero who gets killed at the end?

But if we can go beyond those three, I'd pick Miles Kendig in Hopscotch (1980), because he has so much fun.
