This scenario assumes Casey narrowly defeats Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination. He then picks Gretchen Whitmer as his VP

A Casey/Whitmer ticket would be very strong in the Rust Belt, but I can't think of a scenario where Casey is the Democratic nominee in 2020.

If it happened, this is what the map would look like:


Bob Casey Jr/Gretchen Whitmer (D) 51%
Donald Trump/Mike Pence (R) 46%
