What exactly makes someone want to be a Bernie Bro or even be on Rose Twitter? I am talking about about the factors on why someone would want to do so the  first place?

The beliefs track to young people falling out of the middle class. Participation in rose Twitter (or online political communities generally, us too) suggests feelings of isolation and a resulting drive to find community in the virtual world.

If you're talking about demographics, then being an irreligious straight male between the ages of 16 and 30 and grew up middle-class in the suburbs.

Young people from comfortable middle-class backgrounds who use politics as a way to differentiate themselves from the "conservative" mainstream in which they have grown up and has afforded them every material comfort they know.  Their psychology is pretty similar to that of the New Atheists.

Gee, I can't possibly imagine what kind of sinister force would drive a person to desire healthcare and a living wage.

White boy who is more passionate about class/wealth/economic left issues than anything else.  He is likely from the Northeast and enjoys playing video games.

Being male, for one (and presumably cis male though I'm not sure if that's been established).

Beyond that, hating both parties - can't imagine why! Roll Eyes -  but also hating Donald J. Trump and recognizing that third parties are a waste of time because of the US electoral system (and because most actual third parties are bad jokes).

Oh, and thinking capitalism at least in its current form is catastrophically bad.

Psychologically, I'd say that it's people who are similar to what research says about conservatives: a dislike of uncertainty and a black/white approach to the world.
