Not totally surprised.
I think that if we are in a very-good position with Covid by, say, spring of 2024 ... then he has a good chance of winning.

The chances of America getting its first woman president within the decade just got ten feet higher.

The thought of Kamala Harris becoming the first woman (acting) president only through President Biden dying sometime in his second term isn't exactly something anyone would celebrate.  Not even her.  Especially if she didn't win the office herself on her own merits.

He prefaced it on if his health stays good, and that's a big if of course given his age.

Oh, I never said it was anything to celebrate. Just that it’s more likely to happen.

D's don't need much to hold the 304 blue wall anyways, it's just hard to mount a blue wave on a Pandemic and the Ds need a blue wave to hold the H in 22 and the Senate in 24

He has to. The only other plausible Democratic nominees in '24 are Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg, both of whom would be underdogs against Trump.

Klobuchar would probably lose the African American vote to Trump. Heck, Harris might even have trouble with the African American vote, being a former prosecutor.

If Biden were to die in office, Harris would become straight-up President, not acting President.

I think it's rather obvious that anyone connected with law enforcement is going to have trouble winning the black vote...unless they themselves are black, like Val Demings (or Harris, I guess).

Ok.

I think it's obvious 40% of blacks aren't going to switch to Trump because Klobuchar was a prosecutor.

Klobuchar and Harris would both still receive over 80% of the black vote.

Amy Klobuchar.

How in the world could she win the nomination over Harris or Buttigieg?

You could add 2 more plausible names - Beto O'Rourke and Stacey Abrams. But both of them will have either just won a big victory and be committed to a new office, or just have become a double loser. So if either of them wins, I could see them as strong 2028 candidates, but not 2024 really either way.

She said she is running for reelection 2024, if we do lose in 22 is a Sherrod Brown or Bob Casey Jr or Tim Ryan type if he loses in 22

Biden is too old, Blks and Latinos repellent against Buttigieg he is LGBT, in IN,  Blk Congressman said that he endorsed Biden because Buttigieg was gay

The shine is definitely off of Biden, Traggy has he at 4o similar to Insider Advantage poll 49/41 vs Trump underperforming

We definitely not gonna win red 234 red wall states if Voting Rights don't pass

What's he supposed to say after 11 months in office? "Nah, I'm already ruling out to run"? And immediately making himself a lame duck?

That said, I think there's a 60% chance he actually runs, if his health permits it for sure.

If we lose in 22 and Harris can't win IA in the primary, Biden is gonna be pushed out the door if Tim Ryan loses his race in OH and he will if Votibg Rights or wave begins, it's almost too late for either, he wanted to Prez anyways not Gov or Senator a Pete Buttigieg and Tim Ryan race in primary would be fantastic, Blks and Latinos would endorse Ryan because he is straight and Harris can't win IA

I would enthusiastic endorse Tim Ryan for Prez if we lose both Houses in 24 Biden is gonna be shoved out the door

40 percent in Traggy poll and Insider Advantage poll of course he want to salvage the Midterms he says he is running

Pope Francis is 85 and he is still very active despite his colon surgery in August.
