How would a “reverse U.S.” look with the opposite political problems?

What if there had been some Gwenyth Paltrow-like figure who had been President and a Covid-like disease sprung up at the end of her first and only term? She lost to a white guy who’s a Republican but considerably more moderate than our GOP(this Democratic Party actually does the things Fox News claims they do) . Also, abortion and guns are reversed where abortion rights are expanding rapidly while guns are unusually strict(but a large pro Gun movement exists)?

Since many of the actual US's problems are caused or exacerbated by widespread willful ignorance about Smart People Subjects like medical science and history education, it stands to reason that the reverse US's problems would involve widespread willful ignorance about Dumb People Subjects like family formation and hunting. I don't think that's at all mutually exclusive with what OP is describing.

Imagine a PETA member in this reverse US getting elected and not being able to understand deer control as she doesn’t understand their deer occasionally have to be killed to prevent overpopulation.  That is the equivalent of Louie Gohmert.
