Good Book
Isn't this in the wrong sub-forum, though?
The book has a lot about the Bible in it
It does, especially considering the "Whales in the sea/God's voice obey"
New England Primer epigraph with which it's sometimes printed. Anybody who's read the book will understand that connecting it to that couplet implies a LOT about its themes.
It's a fantastic book. Gripping once you get into it. It only has a reputation for being dull because of how much of it is setup; the payoff is astonishing, and in my opinion starts earlier than most critics say it does.
