Statewide vaccine mandates have historically been viewed differently from federal ones, hence why you see Biden’s federal mandates fail miserably but statewide ones remain relatively successful. This doesn’t really surprise me very much, even if I don’t agree with the ruling (especially considering that it’s for a religious exemption).

I don't think there's much, if any, grounds for a SCOTUS challenge to the statewide mandates.

The early 20th century mandates upheld in Jacobson and its successor cases were far more coercive than anything out there today for COVID.
