Nah, either Zeldin ran a really strong campaign, or theflyingmongoose just doesn't like Gillibrand...though personally, if Zeldin's running that well, and it's an R wave, you might as well go all the way and just say he wins the Senate seat. Gillibrand is the easier of the two Senators to defeat in an election, after all.

Nah, either Zeldin ran a really strong campaign, or theflyingmongoose just doesn't like Gillibrand...though personally, if Zeldin's running that well, and it's an R wave, you might as well go all the way and just say he wins the Senate seat. Gillibrand is the easier of the two Senators to defeat in an election, after all.

It's basically like VA-SEN in 2014. All polling firms showed Gillibrand with at least Likely D, but turnout dynamics and a strong Zeldin campaign. I am changing the results to make it a bit more realistic, though still close.
