What year do they run? I assume this is 2000 but McCain would probably win, although I'd support Mondale. I'd say it would be OTL 2000 map plus NM & OR, while Mondale would win WV for a 278-260 McCain victory.

Fmr. Vice President Walter Mondale (D-MN) / Fmr. Secretary of the Treasury Lloyd Bentsen (D-TX) ✓
Fmr. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) / Fmr. HUD Secretary Jack Kemp (R-NY)

Abstain or third party, but really cross my fingers for Mondale because this is one of few situations where there really is a lesser evil; fortunately, McCain and Kemp would be pretty out-of-touch with the modern GOP and a classic New Dealer might actually do really well in the modern political climate.
