6th grade. Thanksgiving was the 24th that year, so my main concern was probably my school's engineering fair that always happened the day before Thanksgiving. I don't remember what the theme was - it might have had something to do with draw bridges, but that might have been another year.

That might also have been the year I got this piece of amazing sci-fi technology that was a digital camcorder I could keep in my pocket.

Also that was around when I was most obsessed with The Apprentice, so if you had told me the 2016 election was between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, I'd be thrilled with where the world was heading and totally confident of a utopian future for America.

Year 5/5th Grade in Asian-heavy Sydney suburbia. Getting bogged down by an 18 month old kid who was (perhaps understandably) garnering 90% of my parents attention. Spending copius amounts of free time on my PlayStation 2. School on an upswing though compared to a few months earlier.

Things start getting "weird" about a year later, the 06/07 period changing me significantly and keeping much of my current personality.

The fact that people have posted that they weren't even born yet disturbs me.

I was 18, a freshman in college, and was home for Thanksgiving break.  My family had just gotten a dog and was also getting ready to move to a new house.

I would've been 3 and a half years old at the time, two months into my first year of preschool. It was a Tuesday so I would've had school that day. When I got home I would've watched shows like Sesame Street, Bob the Builder, Baby Einstein, Blue's Clues, The Fairly OddParents, and Jimmy Neutron on the TV. During my computer time I would've played Flash games on the Playhouse Disney, Nick Jr., and Crayola websites, or messed around with the theme settings on Windows XP. For offline activities I would've colored with my crayons, used my LEGO Duplo sets, read a picture book, or run around the backyard and use the sandbox.

I was a 1 year old, and now I'm less than a year away from becoming an adult.

I was about 18 months old, and in half a year, I’ll be a legal adult.

I was 15 and a sophomore in high school. I was in Chemistry, Functions and Statistics, Debate class, Language Arts 10, French III, and Fitness/Health. I felt pretty overworked, and the choir I was in was preparing for holiday concerts, so I had a pretty full schedule with homework and rehearsals. Overall, not the happiest part of high school for me, though it was better than the first half of my junior year.

I started to answer with a couple of exciting events in my life, and then realized they happened in 1995, not 2005.  When you get old the years start to blur together. Smiley

Can't think of anything in particular for that time in 2005, other than that a few months earlier I moved into the house I currently live in.
