Macri has only 1m in assets???
Pretty much all politicians in Argentina severely underestimate their total wealth, largely for tax reasons, through legal and not-so-legal ways, which is "assisted" by the country's unstable economy (as high inflation and sudden currency devaluations can make it quite hard to accurately estimate how much your wealth rose or decreased over time)
Common tactics include using the "tax value" for real estate and vehicles, which is often ridiculously low compared to the market value, to shadier ways like pretend donations and using shell societies and front men (a favorite of the Kirchners)
And Macri's latest (afaik) declaración jurada is from less than a year after Franco Macri's death, which means that Mauricio likely hasn't yet legally inherited his portion of his father's wealth, which was estimated as a whole at around 500M USD, and as it was very shortly after leaving the presidency it doesn't disclose how much Macri had in his blind trust
As an example of how ridiculous this kind of underestimation can go, Macri's fairly high (but definitely a lot lower than you'd expect for the son of the owner of a pretty large holding company) 4.7 M dollar wealth (as taken in Jan 2020 dollars) was higher than Alberto and Cristina Fernandez's and their whole cabinet combined. As Cristina's own wealth is officially of only 12.4 million pesos (or around 150,000 dollars (lol) according to her own declaración jurada, despite unofficially owning at least one 1-million-dollar apartment and like 5 hotels, owned legally by front men or shell societies , as she "donated" 26 properties (officially valued at around 5M dollars, or 75M pesos) or to her children all the way back in 2016
