What if Jim Justice never switched parties? Would he win or lose reelection? What would the margin be? Explain with maps.

Then what'd be the GOP candidate's margin? Which counties would Justice win (if any)?
Also I think Justice would likely outperform John Perdue.

Justice already had a reputation as a bit of a DINO (not uncommon in WV), so I'm going to assume his change of label doesn't change too much about his governance/campaigning. In this scenario, he becomes the only Democratic Governor to not endorse Biden and not have his opponent endorsed by Trump.

I'm unsure as to whether he outright endorses Trump - if so, he does this after his primary - but he definitely endorses Capito if not (to differentiate himself from Swearengin).

He ultimately wins in a <5 point squeaker, but his downballot coattails aren't enough to save John Perdue.
