After the FDR vs. Reagan poll was a runaway victory for Roosevelt, let’s pit him up this against a more controversial wartime president.

Easy vote for Wilson for me.

Say what you will about Reagan, but at least he didn't lay the groundwork for the rise of Nazism.

We are 32 years on from Reagan. 32 years on from Woodrow Wilson took us to Eisenhower. Whatever wrongs from Woodrow's presidency were either fully, or in cases partially repaired. I don't think the US, or the world, has recovered from Reagan's neo-liberal excesses.

But I don't care for either of them.

Wilson laid the groundwork for the New Deal and helped push a raft of progressive reforms that improved life in this country someway or another. He wasn't a bad president, while Reagan was.

Wilson had a few positive domestic policies, even if they're far outweighed by the evil he did. But that's better than Reagan, who did nothing good

From what I have heard Wilson urged restraints on Germany's reparations after the war against Framce and other allied powers who wanted steeper and more revengeful actions

Wilson was completely incapacitated by the time Versailles rolled around. Firsthand accounts of the deliberations confirm that he had absolutely no idea how to turn his 14 points into any sort of concrete plan for peace. Because of his feckless leadership, the French ran roughshod over him.

This is an insanely stupid argument. Putting aside the fact that the world has never been better than it is today, blaming todays problems on Reagan is like blaming Nixon on FDR.

Reagan, as much as he is overrated, was better than Wilson.

Reagan was the second best president of the 20th century.

Wilson was the worst president of all time.

Easy choice for me.

Wilson as Reagan did far too much (and far more than Wilson) long term damage.

You can't lay all the blame for the way the world is today at Reagan's feet. This is, quite frankly, a very stupid and unintelligent way of comparing the two - looking at their 'legacies' a full 32 years (a whole generation) later. Yes, some of the problems the world faces today MIGHT be due to Reagan's presidency, but you can't attribute all of today's problems to Reaganism. Also, if the nation/world repaired itself from Wilsonism, that's not something you should use as a character reference for Wilson...it's not a good thing when the nation/world needs to 'repair' itself from your time in power (looking at Trump here). If the world 'repaired' itself from Wilsonism but not Reaganism, then that also speaks to Wilson's successors (Harding, Coolidge, Hoover, Roosevelt, Truman) being better and more solvent leaders than Reagan's (Bush, Clinton, Bush again, Obama and Trump), perhaps moreso than it does to Wilson and Reagan themselves.

Having said that I agree with the final sentence of your post; neither was that good a president.

Reagan by many country miles. Wilson was probably one of the worst presidents we have ever had. He showed a KKK film in the White House, while Reagan, at most, had some "dog whistles".

This user likes Dixiecrats for some reason, it's not the same as Secular Party

If your ancestors had Apartheid and put in Chain Gangs which most Blk men were working in during Wilson Administration, you would feel alot different

Poor Jews, Latinos and BLK men had no Public Defender's until 1963 or Miranda Rights until 1965 they were thrown in Chain Gangs for whistling at white females, Emnitt Till

White Females lead us out of Slavery they the Underground Railroad

Wilson has more accomplishments and did less damage in the long run. So him by process of elimination.

Ronald Reagan was a much better President that Woodrow Wilson, who was a white supremacist and botched the World War 1 peace process (which laid the groundwork for the rise of Nazism).  I would say that Ronald Reagan is a “B” rated President and that Woodrow Wilson is a “C” or “D” rated President.

You're a Democrat and you give Reagan a B? LOL.
