In 1984, the last state, Mondale's home state of Minnesota, was decided by 18 pips! I know Reagan won all the others - every single one of them.

In 2012, Florida was the closest state, but it was decided by 88 pips! The only state to be decided by less than 200, and one of only four states to be decided by less than 500!

Both elections also took place on the same day - November 6. (Mr. Beat, the birthday YouTuber, makes this easy to declare.)
