Before the night of the Iowa Caucus, did Hillary think Obama’s online popularity didn’t reflect the electorate?

To be fair, Hillary did win the nationwide popular vote.
Moreover, if Iowa had held a primary instead of an undemocratic caucus, she would have won that contest, too. Bear in mind that Obama's fanbase mostly consisted of college students and unemployed people, who had enough free-time to act as a caucus-goer, whereas Hillary's electorate contained the majority of blue- and gray-collar workers, who can't just so take a day off for a public event which you have to attend personally

She may have won an IA primary over Obama, but the reason for that would be that activists are over-represented among caucus goers. Caucuses are in the evening and do not conflict with work for most workers. Caucus goers also tend to be older than the typical IA voter including in 2008 - its the 30s and younger that are underrepresented.

Also, we all know the MI/FL issues, so its not fair to say she won the popular vote.
