Broke: Using equipment appropriate for the climate it's deployed to
Woke: Using arctic equipment in semi-arid Kherson Oblast

This is why Russia will win the war unless NATO sends in troops. Man for man, they will grind it out in a war of attrition. It might be a pyrrhic victory, but Russia will do whatever it takes to win Ukraine. This sets a really dangerous precedent, needless to say.

NBC poll

Quote
Americans are split on providing more funding and weapons to Ukraine, with 49% believing Congress should do this, versus 47% saying it shouldn’t.

Its getting close to 50/50 on this issue. Expect Trump to jump in this issue more and more.

Alright you CCP apologist clown, let's look at the facts.

According to that NBC poll, which you of course clearly didn't bother to read (how could you when you were researching how much revenue selling your family would generate), 49% were in favor of more aid. 15% additional percent thought that what we gave was enough/a bit too much, while four percent didn't care. That puts the actual number of Americans strongly against arming Ukraine at 32%- hardly a dub for you and authoritarianism gang.

In another L for you, the poll also shows only 8% of Americans strongly opposed to imposing sanctions on China, which is basically the Lizardman Constant.

Just face it. The average American is against authoritarianism and authoritarian governments. The average European thinks the same. The free world stands strong and united. I take all pleasure in saying this:

Cope.

Wrong again and again.

Ukrainians are fighting for their freedom.

Russians don't even know what they are doing in Ukraine (aside from Putin sending them there).

Russia has been stacking up reserves around Kreminna-Svatovo for days/small-counteroffensives. Possibly gearing up towards Lyman according to Ukrainian telegrams/Russian milbloggers.

Wagner has been making reasonable progress to the south of Siversk after Soledar fell/they crossed the Bahmutka river.

2 days ago they took "Sakko I Vantsetti" (Soviet naming is weird) after Blahodatne, Krasnopovlivka, and  just now, Mykolaivka. I think them along with the DPR/LPR guys are Russia's top fighters (as of right now)

Die Welt came out with an opinion piece that is fairly negative on Ukraine's chances and says that Ukraine is running out of men and material.   More signs of elite consensus perhaps breaking down in parts of the collective West

I'm not saying they haven't captured it. I saw a vague tweet claiming the Ukrainians had abandoned it at some point (it didn't give any hint of when) and the village was in no man's land up until Wagner entered. But it would nice if Wagner posted more convincing evidence than a few dudes in front of what looks like a shed.

https://news.yahoo.com/ukraine-ready-guarantee-long-range-170313103.html

"Ukraine is ready to guarantee that long-range missiles will not hit Russia"

I guess this is logical under the circumstances just to get those missiles.  Still, it seems to me, looking at it from Ukraine's point of view, taking the war to Russians within Russia (as defined by Ukraine) has to be a good part of the strategy to end the war on its own terms.  So giving up that option seems to remove a viable tool to achieve that goal.

"Israeli PM Netanyahu says considering military aid to Ukraine, mediation"

Looks like Netanyahu might be open to sending Iron Dome to Ukraine.

Broke: American russia proxy war.

These guys seem a lot more serene and confident than I would be with a a horde of 200,000 RU troops ready to go after me. The sprung felons seem to be drugged up and robotic as they march along, oblivious to their line being picked off one by one by drones. They wonder when the bad boy weapons will arrive so they can go on the offensive again. The last one persuaded them that the can kick Russian butt. They are not afraid, just impatient.

Probably because they have been fighting Russia long enough now to truly know they are the better army in in field and all they need are the western weapons needed to go on the offensive again

One of the clues is a confidential conversation between the NZZ and two influential foreign politicians, one from the governing coalition, the other from the opposition. Both insist on anonymity because what they say independently is explosive. In mid-January, US President Joe Biden instructed CIA chief William Burns to sound out the willingness in Kiev and Moscow to negotiate.

The offer to Kiev was: peace for land, the offer to Moscow: land for peace. The "land" is said to have been about 20 percent of Ukrainian territory. This is about the size of Donbass. Both sides, the two politicians report, had refused. The Ukrainians, because they are not prepared to let their territory be divided, the Russians, because they expect to win the war in the long run anyway.
Seems that Biden was willing to offer Russia 20% of Ukrainian land for peace according to 2 German politicians. The newspaper itself is pretty trustworthy.

Well, if this is indeed true, hats off to Biden for at least trying.

One might not notice it by the general mood here, but the only thing flourishing in UA right now is the funeral industry.

Repeating "More Mobiks only means more meat for the grinder!!!" on an obscure online forum does not magically manifest a 101 to 1 Kill/Death ratio into reality.

At some point, if Putin can indeed keep up a stable front in a prolonged war of attrition, the sheer human loss for Ukraine will exceed the cost of giving up some *now half empty* territory, particularly since they are one of the worst countries in Europe when it comes to demographics.

It's named after the famous anarchist duo Sacco and Vanzetti funnily enough.

It seems to be an abandoned village (even before the war) but I guess must have some military value.
