Pursuant to Section 3, Article 1 of the OSPR; The PPT, after taking their oath of office, must appoint a successor should they become inactive. This successor shall be named the Deputy PPT

So simply, no. The Senator from South Carolina and the Senator from Florida should withdraw their nominations, although I suppose withdrawing is redundant since those nominations are rendered invalid by the rules anyway.

I endorse Senator Ishan, but Cao and Weatherboy would also be great alternatives and one of them should be Deputy PPT. But Ishan has indicated his willingness to be active in this tedious job and I support him for this position.

The request for Deputy nomination merely serves as an expression of the interest by the posted members but has no relevance under the rules, WD's second half of the last sentence on them being irrelevant under the rules is correct.
