This race was always Likely R, if not Safe R.

That said, a poll with Dem candidates in the low/mid 30s and DeSantis not even hitting 50% is useless.

Hardly surprising when the left is doing things like this. Sure it means we’ll never win the third most populous state in the country again, but I’m sure it made these 40 reps feel good about themselves!

That’s absolutely absurd. Not to mention the MD Dems running a lawyer who represented the Maduro regime for a city council position in Miami-Dade.

Their incompetence is staggering.

It's Safe R in this environment regardless, but can't we run anyone better than grifter Nikki Fried or perennial candidate Charlie Crist?

It’s probably better not to.

Good point. Wouldn't want to waste money on a race we're not going to win anyway. It's still sickening that DeSantis is being rewarded for his murderous COVID policies.

Good effing grief. Just good effing grief. Dems are to going to invest very very little with these margins.

That's all I got for today.

Side note: Republicans just became the biggest party on terms of registration in FL.

Rodger Stone said he might challenge DeSantis as an Indy, it will be a whole new race if that happens and hopefully he rubs as an Indy and not primary DeSantis we need Stone to split the vote, but Rubio will win

Blue Dogs or Blue Collar D's wins, Bobby Scott if he wants the Gov race in VA in 25 can win even against Seats and Ryan and if Jackson not Beasley runs, they can win

We are destroying Rs in PA and AZ

DeSantis and Rubio are being rewarded by Surfside but it can subside if Stone enters as an indy

All this poll is showing is that DeSantis has the R vote locked up while none of the Dems have the D vote locked up. Obviously Rs are heavily favored (probably R+6 or so) but it won’t be a double digit blowout unless Dems totally give up on the race. Even if they do I doubt DeSantis eclipses 55%.

Not really polls will close as Election time nears Gillum lead by Six pts with a mnth left and lost, Marco Rubio will easily win by the Gov race can be within 3, DeSantis or Rubio arent winning by double digits it's an R plus 3 state it's not IA it has Blk and Brown voters just like Mandel is only leading by 4 not 10 like Trump won

Warning this is a University poll, the lead for DeSantis and Rubio are 5 pts not Double digits it's an R plus 3 state

This same poll had Crist ahead for months in the Summer, D's have not conceded FL to Rs

Doesn't matter if it's a University Poll or not! Crist is as much as a loser similar to John James in Michigan.

President Obamas former Florida State Director Steve Schale predicts that if current Trends continue Republicans will have a 100K Registration Advantage by the end of Sept. 30 2022 next year. Schale, who lives in FL, has all but written off FL for Dems next year.

Yeah. Polls changed their tune when Rasmussen, Gallup, Monmouth, Marist, Suffolk, Marquette, Q, etc. had Biden at underwater by 8-16 points nationally.  And then Virginia happened.

Floridas not even close.  I'm here in Broward County.  Democrats lost ground.  The Red has spread.  Plus you had so many Republicans from NJ and NY move down to the state. That could have change the NJ election.
