Those numbers are looking sure good for Sherrod Brown and this coming from a guy who was very skeptical as to Brown's chances in the early going

I wouldn't mind seeing a few more Senate polls showing Democratic challengers pulling away. It would be a pure joy to see the GOP blow all that money

Mike DeWine sure isn't no George W. Bush in OH. He hasn't gotten the people over to his side that voted for Bush in SE OH where Brown is leading in.  Maybe this is buyers remorse on the part of OH voters concerned with Bush or maybe there is something seriously wrong with Mike DeWine's candidacy or both.

This is why I'm not a fan of SUSA. Brown is ahead but give me a break.

I think with Strickland pulling 60%, it seriously damages DeWine's chances of winning with Blackwell losing that big.

I don't think Brown is ahead by this much, but it's still nice to see. The Ohio Republicans must be wishing that they hadn't blown their load in 2004 with that anti-gay amendment... that might have saved DeWine's sorry ass this year.

I would give my right arm for this poll and the poll on MO to be accurate. That said, I don't think either candidate is leading by so much. McCaskill by very low single digits, Brown by 6-9.

Brown isn't up by fourteen. Maybe by six, but not by double digits.

I say, in the end, Brown wins 52-47.

You may be right about the GOP pushing the anti-gay agenda in Ohio is influencing the election towards Brown, but don't you think that it has more to do with the corruption up in the Taft administration?

True, if the anti-gay amendment was on the ballot this year it would save Dewine's ass.......BUT, if they had not put the anti-gay marriage amendment on the ballot in '04, Bush would not have won Ohio and therefore would not have won reelection.
