Wow, she really is dumber than I thought.  This is actually becoming comical.  Now it has come out that her anti-Israel positions were also negotiated in order to keep this guy out of the primary.  (He was never going to be a factor in the first place, so its hilarious she went to these lengths).

How craven do you have to be to agree to a nobody deciding your positions for you just so you can get elected? Starting to think Lipinski was better. Casten is definitely better.

The campaign has pulled all its ads off the air for now.  Newman did the same shortly after.  Casten's most recent ad was actually narrated by his late daughter.

It's interesting that Justice Dems doesn't seem to care about Palestine, leaving a nobody to force her hand on it. But also, Lipinski being better? That's a pretty bad take unless you think that LGBTQ equality, abortion rights, treating immigrants like people, etc. are worth trading for some imaginary honor. Even Casten is thoroughly in the pockets of big money, and of course they all are. They are Illinois Democratic Party elected officials lol...

Not surprised Casten won but the margin is surprising. Still some vote out in Cook county so it may narrow a bit but right now Casten is up 39 points, a huge margin for a member v member race. Newman's ethics issues play that big a role? Sympathy vote for Casten?

Yeah I was suprised by just how much the race was a blowout, maybe it's a sympathy vote ?. I'm not quite sure how this happend.
