To be clear, as a reminder I'm much more liberal than my character. I actually agree with what Ryder is saying in the game, and I abhor people like Doyle Brooks (even Dale Scott is much too conservative for me).

Yeah I was wondering your actual views given how wildly right-wing your character is.

I usually prefer playing these games with characters who have completely different views from me, I find it more interesting. I also think it's a testament to just how extreme the GOP has gotten that people like Brooks sit squarely within the party's mainstream

I am so sorry, I meant no offense. I thought that this game is just that and not a way to express our own views (through one can certainly do that) or to spread any particular ideology. I am sorry you are going through this and that I have in any way added to your distress. In that context, I've decided to drop out too. I really hope your mother gets better...
