What color state is Michigan?

What color is Michigan??? The state level seems purple but federally they have two Democrats as Senators, a Democratic governor, and have gone blue in every recent election except 2016.

In terms of its political status, I would consider it blue-violet.

If you mean politically, it’s purple now but generally still leans blue. And if you mean just what color I associate with the state of Michigan, combination of Michigan “Go Blue” Wolverines  and the fact that it’s surrounded by water makes me think blue for that too.
