gop dropping abortion and talk of "entitlements reform" would swing enough close north/western areas+shore up the south to get the GOP in power a long time



Thankfully, this alone would not be enough. I do think a socially centrist but economically right-wing GOP could be powerful, however, and it's a party I might support (assuming they support the environment and oppose guns).

One thing I am really wondering about is how this calculus all changse because of Roe and perhaps even Griswold being invalidated.
