Since Trump running and winning the GOP nomination in 2024 is pretty much a given at this point, he has a real shot at returning to office.
If he wins and becomes president from 2025-2029, what will his term look like? What policies will he enact, who will he pick for his cabinet and what will he do?
If you can try to not give stereotypical answers like "the end of democracy" or "apocalypse". I'm honestly wondering what realistically it would look like.

Well, he would give the greenlight for republican states to pass every voting measure. His justice department would ignore it. In 2017-2021, Republicans pass a lot of measures but the most extreme ones were planned after Trump won re-election.

Obamacare is dead. Republicans had a 2 seat majority, only 3 votes were needed to save Obamacare. When they increase their majority, Democrats won the house. Rest assured, the next time Republicans have a federal trifecta, Obamacare is dead (Unless Democrats expand it and make it cheaper under Build Back Better, making it more popular)

2022 would be a history defying midterm with Republicans making massive gains due to Dem obstruction.

Please don't make me think about it. His first term ended up being worse than I could have expected, so his second term would be that on steroids, PCP, and meth. And it gets even worse because he would have less to lose in being in his last term...assuming we even have a 22nd Amendment anymore!

It can't happen. Please, for the love of f***!

What if he wins in 2024? What will you have got by winning in 2020?

I think him winning in 2024 would be far more dangerous than him winning 2020.  He’d likely have a filibuster proof Republican majority in the senate in 2024, while he would have had a bare Republican majority in 2020 (and Dems still may have kept the House).

American democracy whittled away to nothing while fascist scum hoot and holler, pointing guns at neighbors they've wanted to shoot for years. A lot of boasting from Atlas' finest about how gerrymandered legislative coups represent the will of the people - the ones who are real Americans.
There would be fascism, but it would be in the name of liberalism.

A 2025-2029 Trump Presidency?

He could win but there is no way he'd survive the entire term (he'd be 82 and is in horrible health- not to mention the pressures of the office.

If Donald Trump of all people can win, that means Republicans most likely have a trifecta, in which case Democracy could very well be screwed.

Same as the first, except with more attempts to permanently seize power. I honestly think the military would have to outright defy his orders, because he would try to use them as his secret police force.

With that said, with a significant third party vote I cannot see him winning again. He needs pluralities to win.

If he gets a trifecta, he's immediately packing the court. Probably with enough that his hard-core loyalists have an absolute majority. And that's really the ballgame.

America would be isolated in foreign policy. China and Russia would likely be more aggressive. NATO would be undergoing rifts.

I would not be surprised if Trump had initiated an invasion of Cuba.

COVID-19  would be killing even more people, and Trump would be supporting a speculative boom to shore up the economy only to set it up for a big collapse. Republicans would be pushing a nationwide Right to Work (which I consider cynically as "Duty to Starve". There would be an effort to sell off the Interstate Highway System to monopolistic profiteers.

We would have much social unrest that Trump would seek to resolve with a secret police that would harass anyone who fails to agree with him on any significant issue. State legislatures would already be fixing the 2022 election. Racist violence would ramp up.

We would start to see talk of secession from the Left side of the political spectrum.

If Trump becomes Prez since he derided even Conservative on SCOTUS THEY WILL BREAK RANKS AND Declare HE BE PROSECUTED ON INSURRECTIONISTS EVENTHOUGH FBI didn't have a backbone to Prosecute him.

Some judges already said while Trump was in office he can still be Prosecuted, a flood of them would tell Congress to get him Prosecuted
