Articles of Impeachment Against and Removal of GM Peanut

1. The Senate of the Republic of Atlasia finds the following against GM Peanut:
a. He has failed to respond to requests from the President and National Security Council for important information.
b. He has failed to maintain the game engine.
c. He has failed to post a Leave of Absence during the period in which this neglect has occurred.
2.  Thus, the Senate of the Republic of Atlasia introduces Articles of Impeachment against GM Peanut for gross negligence to perform the duties of his office:
3. This article shall take effect immediately upon a majority vote of the Senate.
4. Peanut will be immediately removed from office upon a 2/3 majority vote of the Senate.

I am going to use my authority as PPT to change the Senate rules; currently, 3/5 of the Senate is required to initiate impeachment proceedings, but only a simple majority is needed according to the Fifth Constitution. Disregard this.

I hate doing this but given Peanut’s failure to resign even as we prepare to vote on his replacement, we have no other choice. Everyone here knows Peanut has failed to do his job recently, and it’s hurt Atlasia as a result. I hope we can get this out of the way as soon as possible.

Has Peanut literally been radio silent since September? No appearances offsite or on Discord where he could be gotten hold of? He was online here six days ago so it's difficult to imagine he's unaware, at least, that Lumine is on deck to replace him.

As a NSC member, I can say that while Peanut is a good dude and deserves respect, we desperately need a GM who will be active and move forward with the storylines that are in the pipeline and give some direction to the flow of the game.
