He’d be seen as this rising star and there would be a million Politico articles about the ‘future of the GOP’.

Also Trump would’ve started shading him due to being more popular than he was.

He would’ve probably ended up running in 2028 or 2032, and lost the primary because the GOP wouldn’t be ready for a black nominee yet. He maybe would’ve been a VP pick though.
