Too many, I'm leaving out the big and very well known cities like SF, SD, Sacramento or LA (though LA itsself is just medicore anyway).

It's got terrifically diverse food offerings for a city of it's size, plenty of history between Susan B./Frederick/Finney/Eastman, a good zoo, the Genessee brewery, and a massive museum dedicated to toys. A substantively better and less depressing city than Buffalo.
