It might hurt the Democrats, of course. Specifically in states with large black populations. Electorally speaking, that would be important in the swing states of MI, GA, OH, NC, TX and PA. I don't think the party would do that well but it might be the deciding factor in a race where states like MI and GA are very competitive. Also I imagine a black nationalist party would be more popular in urban areas than in rural areas, so the impact in, say, MS wouldn't be as large as the impact in, say, TN. Overall I don't expect them to get much more than about 1% of the vote.
